While the Department of Information Resources (DIR) schedule is specifically directed to political subdivisions for the State of Texas, out-of-state public entities are welcome to purchase off of this schedule (see Section 2054.0565 of the Texas Government Code). DIR relies on the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Section 791.025 to document these transactions. Similarly State and Local Agencies can purchase off of our GSA 70 Schedule.
